Administrative Assistant

Full-Time

Small electrical contracting office seeking administrative assistant to support staff.

Must be well organized. Duties Include: Answering phones, writing letters, filing, typing estimates, billing,proposals and payroll. Logging job hours/cost, ordering material. Logging employee hours, etc.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is a quick learner.

Ideal candidate would have experience in the field, working with an electrical contractor.
Only candidates with relative experience will be considered.

Knowledge of the NYC Department of Buildings, DOB NOW, Con Edison Project Center is a plus

Light errands may be required such as post office, bank, etc.
Candidates with electrical estimating or project management experience are welcome to apply.

Knowledge of Quickbooks, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Serious inquiries only.

Receptionist/Admin Assistant in Architectural Office

Position Overview :

* ****PLEASE have Receptionist/Admin Assistant work experience in the CREATIVE field ie; Architectural, Construction, Engineering (strongly preferred). Other creative offices/fields will be considered.*******

The ideal Receptionist/Administrative Assistant will have an excellent attitude with great communication and multi-tasking skills. This dynamic individual will be the first point of contact for the company while providing administrative support. The Receptionist must work well in a creative environment, be very reliable and a team player.

Main Responsibilities: Professionally manage and direct phone calls Greet and welcome all guests AA to 2 partners & staff Receive daily mail

Ability to program Word Docs in a timely and efficient manner

Qualifications: Excellent communication skills Positive attitude Ability to multi-task and work well in a team environment Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, STRONG Excel, STRONG Word, Adobe Acrobat X Pro Ability to work independently and also take direction Superb organizational skills and time management.

This is strictly a Receptionist/Admin Assistant position, not a design position.

Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m (5:30). Being on time in the morning is essential! Positive attitude, teamwork, and professional appearance are very important as well.

The office is located in TriBeCa

Education Requirements: Some College or Degree strongly preferred

Required experience:

  • Receptionist / Administration: 1-3 years
