I started getting into abstract/expressionistic art after viewing the work of Jackson Pollock. I found his use of drip and bold strokes in his art as fascinating. I later found out that his methods involved an expression of his psyche. A sort of cathartic nature to it. I believe that using art as a means to mental and emotional expression can be therapeutic. In my experience it has been such a journey. This makes the process of artistic creation even more special.
